Body found "under suspicious circumstances" in garden of Flevoland home

A person was found dead "under suspicious circumstances" in the garden of a home in the Flevoland town of Swifterbant on Sunday, a spokesperson for the police said to RTL Nieuws.

A suspect was arrested a short time later. "The arrested person was in the home of the garden where the body was found", the spokesperson said to the broadcaster.

The body was found at the home on Schuttershof after a tip. The spokesperson could not yet say exactly what happened. "It is too early for that. We have to wait for the investigation."
