Young man caught burying 750g hash in Amsterdam park

The police arrested a young man last week who was caught burying 750 grams of hash in city park Osdorp in Amsterdam. A passerby noticed the young man burying a bag under a pile of grass pollen and warned the police, the Amsterdam Nieuw-West Zuid police said on Facebook.

When officers arrived at the scene, the young man had already left. They did find the bag however, and discovered that it contained 750 grams of the soft drugs.

A short time later, the same bystander called the police again and told them that the young man was back. "Apparently to dig up the bag again. Perhaps he felt regret, or someone told him that no hash tree would grow here", the police said.

The young man was arrested for questioning. The drugs were confiscated.
