Woman, 78, robbed after winning jackpot at Nijmegen casino

The police released surveillance camera footage of a robbery in Jack's Casino in Nijmegen in March this year. A 78-year-old woman was robbed shortly after winning a bingo jackpot at the casino, De Gelderlander reports.

The robbery happened at the casino on Houtstraat on March 10th. The video shows a man sneaking the woman's wallet out of her jacket while she was playing on a slot machine. He walks away, empties the wallet, and then comes back to put the empty wallet back in the woman's jacket.

The victim only noticed something was amiss when she later took out her wallet after winning money for a second time.

The perpetrator can clearly be seen on the video footage. The police call on anyone who recognizes the man to make contact with them.
