Motorist killed in collision with train at Nunspeet crossing

An intercity train crashed into a car on the crossing on Eperweg in Nunspeet on Monday night. The motorist was killed.

The accident happened around 8:40 p.m., according to Omroep Gelderland. As far as is known, the train driver and passengers were unharmed. Another train was deployed to transport the passengers on the rest of their journey.

The police are investigating how the accident happened. So far nothing is known about the identity of the motorist.
