Two hurt in small town stabbing

A 47-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman were injured in a stabbing incident in the Noord-Brabant town of Sint Willerbrord on Sunday afternoon. The police know who the perpetrator is, but he hasn't been arrested yet, the police said in a statement on Monday.

According to the police, the stabbing is the result of a domestic violence incident that escalated. The perpetrator was beating the woman, and the 47-year-old man tried to intervene. Both the man and the woman were injured. This happened on Boterbloemstraat around 12:30 p.m.

The perpetrator fled after the incident, and the police are still looking for him.

The victims were treated for their injuries. Both pressed charges against the perpetrator.
