Body found in Soest home; murder suspected

A 57-year-old man was found dead in a home in Soest on Saturday afternoon. According to the police, the man was killed in a crime.

Around 2:10 p.m. the police received a report of a wounded man in a home on Weegbreestraat. When officers arrived at the scene, the man was already dead.

The police closed down the property and gallery for a trace evidence investigation. A neighborhood investigation was done on Sunday afternoon.

The circumstances surrounding the murder are still unclear. The police call on witnesses to come forward.
