Victims tied to bed in home invasion

Two men invaded a home in Oosterblokker around 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning and surprised the home's two residents in their bed. The residents were beaten and left tied up in the bed, according to the police.

The robbers searched through the home for hours, eventually leaving around 8:00 a.m.

They fled in the residents black Audi A3. The car had a remarkable orange, gray and red kite board in it and two bags, one colored neon yellow and red the other black, in it.

The car was found sometime after 8:00 a.m. on the Compaigne in Zwaag.

The police call on witnesses to come forward.
