Missing American girl,16, may be in Netherlands; Cops focus on The Hague
The Dutch police are looking for 16-year-old Margaret Lee from the United States. The American teenager traveled to the Netherlands by herself on April 1st and has been missing since her arrival. There are indications that she was chatting with a boy from The Hague, the police confirmed to RTL Nieuws.
According to the police, the girl has no extra money or clothes with her. "There are indications that she may be in the area of The Hague", a Hague police spokesperson said to RTL. "According to her mother, she was in contact with a boy in our region via the internet. We are investigating that at the moment." So far it is not clear who the boy is or whether he had anything to do with Margaret's disappearance. "We are currently waiting for information from the U.S. This includes, among other things, IP addresses and other data from her computer and mobile phone."
Margaret goes by Maggie but may also be calling herself Sandra Lee. She has a mixed Korean and Caucasian background. Maggie has a slender posture, is 1.68 meters tall and has dark hair and eyes. The police call on anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact them at once.
