Man suspects ex-wife in Roosendaal house shooting

A Roosendaal man believes his ex-wife is behind his home being targeted in a shooting on Sunday night, he said to Omroep Brabant. The home on Diepenberg in Roosendaal was hit by several bullets around 11:00 p.m. on Easter. No one was injured.

The man lives in the home with his 16-year-old son. According to him, he and his ex are going through a messy divorce - proceedings started six years ago. She already filed several charges against him and four weeks ago he went to the police to file charges of libel and slander against her.

The woman denies being involved, BN De Stem reports.

The police will make no comments on these allegations. "We will not go into suspicions and in the interest of the investigation will make no further statements", a spokesperson said to Omroep Brabant.

Technical and forensic investigations were done at the home. So far no arrests were made.
