Dutch orthodontist banned from working on female patients

An orthodontist who works in Deventer and Halle is not allowed to work on any female patients while the police and Healthcare Inspectorate are investigating reports of "inappropriate touching", RTL reports.

Several women reported that "inappropriate touching" from the orthodontist, the Healthcare Inspectorate said. It is therefore plausible that he acted inappropriately.

The ban on treating female patients will remain in place until the disciplinary court ruled on the matter.

The orthodontist denies the allegations.
