Thick fog triggers code yellow weather warning

Thick fog banks may cause extra traffic problems during morning rush hour on Monday. Meteorological Institute KNMI warns that visibility may be reduced to less than 200 meters in some places. A code yellow fog warning is currently in effect for the entire country except the Wadden Islands, Groningen, Limburg and Zeeland. "Hazardous conditions due to poor visibility. Adjust speed and keep a safe distance. Fog can be treacherous by sudden onset. Follow weather forecasts and warnings", The KNMI advises. The fog should dissipate during the course of the morning.
