Parents meet after shooting outside Amsterdam school

Primary school Horizon in Amsterdam's Osdorp arranged a parents' meeting on Wednesday evening to discuss a shooting near the school on Tuesday, RTV Noord-Holland reports. "Although the shooting has nothing to do with Horizon and the victim was slightly injured, we as a team are shaken", the school writes in a letter to parents. "We can imagine that you and your child are also shocked. We discuss it in class with the children. We will keep doing so in coming weeks if necessary." The meeting will also be attended by Victim Aid, the neighborhood police officer, employees of the parent and child team and employees of the district.
