Revenge porn upload traced to Breda vocational school

Vocational school Florijn College in Breda is currently the subject of the investigation into a revenge porn case surrounding 22-year-old Chantal from Werkendam. Investigators believe that a sex video featuring Chantal and her ex-boyfriend may have been uploaded from this school, Omroep Brabant reports. Chantal filed and won a lawsuit against Facebook last year in an effort to find out who posted the sex tape on the social media site. After several court hearings, with Facebook claiming that the information is no longer available, two internet experts were sent to Facebook to see what they could find. They found the IP address used to upload the video. The address is used by IT-Works, a company that provides IT services to schools falling under ROC West-Brabant. The about 20 schools falling under ROC West-Brabant were quickly narrowed down to two schools - Florijn College in Breda and Markiezaat College in Bergen op Zoom. Markiezaat college was eliminated because no one Chantal knows is connected to the school, and it seems unlikely that a random stranger uploaded the video. So the investigation is now focused on the school in Breda. Jan Broeken, director IT-Workz, told the broadcaster that they are keeping in mind that the video was uploaded from a computer at the Breda school. "In the interest of the investigation, I can not divulge anything further. We are working hard on it", he said. "We are doing everything possible to get tot he bottom of this", ROC West-Brabant spokesperson Ed Ottevanger said to Omroep Brabant. "We find what happened to Chantal extremely annoying and want to find the person responsible for it. So we are giving investigators and detectives all the space and time to carry out technical investigations in our systems."
