Temps dipped to -4 degrees; should rise to 17 next week

After a massively cold night last night, with temperatures dipping to -4.1 degrees in Noord-Brabant, the end of the cold weather seems to be in sight. Temperatures will start rising this weekend and next week will be more pleasant at between 13 and 17 degrees, according to Weeronline. May will start out pretty cold, with ground frost expected on Saturday night and a cold morning expected for Monday. But the rest of the week will be milder, with minimum temperatures between 5 and 9 degrees - similar to recent weeks' maximum temperatures. Next week is expected to be mostly dry with regular sunshine, though there may be some rain falls and even an occasional storm.
