Kickboxer Badr Hari’s sister dies after long illness

Kickboxer Badr Hari's sister Houda passed away after a long illness. Hari announced her death on Instagram. "Surely we belong to Allah and to Him shall we return. My dearest most beautiful sister has returned to Allah, may Allah forgive her and grant her the highest Paradise", the kickboxer writes on the social media site. In June last year, the appeal in the criminal case against Hari, for assaulting businessman Koen Everink, was postponed due to personal reasons. According to RTL Nieuws, the case was most likely postponed due to his sister's illness. In October last year the court sentenced Hari to 24 months in prison, 10 of which a conditional probation term.
