Amsterdam police investigate gunshots outside Rembrandtplein club

The police are investigating a shooting incident in Amsterdam early on Tuesday morning. Several shots were fired at a club on Amstelstraat. No one was injured. According to the police, the suspect walked up to the club from the direction of Rembrandtplein around 4:00 a.m. He fired four shots at the club. No one was hit. Dutch newspaper Het Parool reports that the club in question is club ABE. The shooting happened around closing time. The perpetrator fled up the Amstel in the direction of Herengraght. He is a small, fat man with dark skin. He wore white shoes, dark trousers and a dark jacket, possibly of the Moncler brand.
