Police hunt gunman in Marktplaats jewellery robbery

The police have launched a manhunt for two perpetrators who stole two valuable necklaces from a couple in Tilburg during a Marktplaats deal. Early in September the couple decided to place two gold chains up for sale on Marktplaats. A few days later, on September 6th, a potential buyer called the couple and said that he was interested in one of the chains. They agreed on a price of 3 thousand euros and couple made an appointment with the man to meet at their home on Oegstgeeststraat in Reeshof later that afternoon. The man arrived with a friend. Both men looked neat and well behaved. They inspected the chain and one of the perpetrators asked to see the second one that was also for sale. The woman was still wearing the chain and took it off to show to the perpetrators. The buyer said that he would stick to only buying one chain, but instead of taking money out of his bag, he produced a gun. The other perpetrator grabbed both chains off the table and the two fled. The victims were dazed, but after a few moments the man got up and ran after the perpetrators. He came outside in time to see them driving off in a gray Peugeot. The police are looking to make contact with any other victims who may have been robbed in the same way. The first suspect is a man of about 20 years old. He has tanned skin, short black hair that he wears combed flat and is about 1.7 meters tall. He wore a black jacket and jeans. The second suspect is a white man, also around the age of 20. He has curly, dark blonde hair and a petite stature. He was wearing a blue coat and jeans.
