The police arrested 19 people in the Amsterdam Red Light District on Monday night after two fights between Ajax and Rapid supporters. The two brawls happened around 9:30 p.m. and 11:45 p.m on the Wallen and in front of the Amsterdam Central Stations. Between 30 and 50 football supporters were involved in the fights. The police intervened and arrested people in both fights. Six Ajax fans were arrested and 13 Austrians. One Ajax supporter sustained a head wound. A police officer injured both arms in a fall. All suspects are still in custody. Ajax wasted a two-goal lead against Vienna in the first leg of the Champions League qualifier, which ended in a 2-2 draw in Austria on Wednesday.
