Game of Thrones exhibition returns to Amsterdam

The travelling exhibition centered around hit HBO fantasy series Game of Thrones returned to Amsterdam on Wednesday. The event takes place in the West Hall of the Westergastfabriek until May 31. Seventy different objects from all five seasons of the series, including the Iron Throne, are on display at the event. A focus at the event is on Dutch actor Michiel Huisman, who portrays Daario Naharis in the show, with his costume and weapons a part of the exhibit. The "Ascend the Wall" virtual reality simulation is also in place. All attendees are invited to join one of the royal houses featured in the series to "access the interactive opportunities at the Exhibition." Visitors can attend the venue in the five days between 10am and 9pm. Tickets are provided for different time slots during the day. No tickets are sold for Sunday, when the entrance to the exhibition is on "first come, first served" principle. The exhibition has a limited capacity, so the organizers cannot guarantee access. The previous Game of Thrones exhibition in Amsterdam took place in January. The exhibition demonstrated items related to the previously aired episodes of the shows along several artifacts of the then unaired fifth season.
