Amsterdam police crack down on Albanian drug ring

Amsterdam police tactical teams arrested three Albanian men in three different locations in the city, early on Monday morning. The three men are suspected of drug trafficking, police stated in a press release. Officers raided establishments in De Pijp, Plantagebuurt and Watergraafsmeer on the basis of the information they had received earlier, police said without going into further detail. One of the men was already wanted internationally for similar offences. Police plan to extradite him to Italy in due time. Further arrests are possible, police added.
