Rotterdam cop arrested in child porn investigation

A 41 year old Rotterdam police officer has been arrested for having child pornography on his private computers. The cop is also suspected of unlawful use of police data. According to the police, the suspect removed information from the police systems and shared information that is not intended for anyone outside the police. In the context of the investigation into this officer's unlawful data use, his data carriers, such as phones and computers, were seized. The Department of Digital Detection searched these devices and found child pornography. The man has been arrested. The investigation into both the child pornography and the information leak continues.
