Squad cars crash into each other on emergency call; two cops hurt

Two police cars collided with each other on Ganzenweide in Heerlen at about 19:30 on Thursday night. They were responding to a report of a fight. The cause of the accident is still unknown. Two police officers were injured and taken to the hospital with possible neck and back injuries. Due to the nature of one of the cops' injuries, firefighters had to take the roof off the police car.
