Illegal cannabis plantation posb. motive in woman's shooting

The police found an illegal cannabis plantation in a shed in Heesch where a 63 year old woman was shot in the leg around 02:15 a.m. on Monday. Her son has been arrested in connection with this, Brabants Dagblad reports. The woman was shot after she and her husband caught a number of people trying to break into the shed on their property. It is now believed that the burglars were after the cannabis. They fled after shooting the woman. The police haven't been able to find them yet. The victim had an operation on her leg yesterday. Her 65 year old husband and 36 year old son were questioned by the police and then released.
