Fifth burglary at disabled persons' horseback school

The horseback riding school for disabled people in IJsselmuiden, Stichting Paardrijden Gehandicapten IJsselmuiden, was broken in to for the 5th time this weekend, RTV Oost reports. The break-in happened some time during Friday night. On Saturday morning a volunteer who feeds the horses noticed that the front door was broken open with a crowbar and the closets were ransacked. It seems that nothing was taken, but a lot of damage was done to the doors and closets. The horses were unharmed. "We are despondent, we try with eighty volunteers to make something beautiful for the weaker members of society, and then someone abuses it. I have no good word for that." secretary Bartels of the Foundation told the newspaper. The perpetrators were probably looking for money. "But we have no money in the riding school." Lessons at the horseback riding school will continue as usual.
