Sat-Nav history gets burglar arrested

The police arrested a 21 year old man from the Hague on Tuesday, January 20th, on suspicion of stealing a navigation system. The police are investigating whether the man is also responsible for a series of burglaries. On Tuesday last week, police officers pulled the man over on Prinses Magrietsingel for a routine check. During the check the officers found a navigation system. The suspect could not tell the officers who the navigation system belongs to and was arrested. At the police station it turned out that the majority of the addresses that were entered in the navigation system, had recently been burglarized. The police decided to keep the man in custody for interrogation and further investigation. The investigation is ongoing.
