IJsselstein bakery wils Oliebollen Test

The Brokking bakery on Benschopperstraat in IJsselstein has won the AD Oliebollen Test. It is thus the best location to get oliebollen in the Netherlands. All hands have been on deck at the bakery since the announcement that they have won. The bakery has been extended by two so-called baking lines so that 80 thousand oliebollen can roll out of the store in the coming days. Bakers Jeroen Brokking (fifth generation baker) and partner Patrick Roelofs are proud of the score their oliebollen got. According to Roelofs, the phone has been ringing of the hook since they were announced the winner "Friends, fellow bakers, people who want to buy", Roelofs sums up. The bakery received a trophy, a certificate on the wall and a bunch of flowers for the best oliebol of 2014. The Verswinkel Ruud & Chantal Gremmee from Russum got second place. Richard Visser from Rotterdam came in third.
