PVV calls for end to Islam, mosques in Netherlands

"The Netherlands has become completely "Islamized'. The Muslims have settled down here, and made the Netherlands their home. They are growing, at our expense", said PVV Parliamentarian Machiel de Graaf with a sneer during debate in the Tweede Kamer. De Graaff seized the opportunity to air his, and his party's, view that the Netherlands will be better off without Islam, and without mosques in the country. "The Muslims are not changing, not assimilating, and not integrating," he alleged. "They are building their country inside the Netherlands, at our cost, with all these mosques." He vociferously stated that the Netherlands has been "Islamized", and blames the PvdA (Labour) party for this, also saying Labour should be ashamed of their proposition to recognize the Palestinian State. "It would not be fair to call the Labour Party an anti-Semitic party, but it seems that they are increasingly meeting the anti-Semitic views of their Muslim voters." De Graaff also went on to urge that all mosques that preach violence be shut down, and that the erection of new mosques be prohibited.
