Akzo Nobel staff go on strike

The staff of Akzo Nobel in Rotterdam is going on strike again today at 14:00 pm. The chemical company in the Botlek was briefed by the unions, so that the production can be decreased safely and responsibly, AD.nl reports. This new action was taken because Akzo Nobel refuses to have a discussion with the unions about their own collective agreements for component Membrane Electrolysis Company (MEB). The workers are also demanding a 10 percent wage increase. 200 people works at Akzo Nobel, of which 95 works at MEB.
