Labor leader ditches Twitter

Labor party PvdA politician Diederik Samson has ditched Twitter; at least for now.

Samson, who used to be a frequent user of Twitter, often answering questions or defended Government policies via the medium, last tweeted three months ago. His last Tweet was a reaction to a question about whether the child asylum would apply to Anne Frank. “There’s a lot I can take, but there are limitations. Bye!” he reacted. When asked why he stopped Tweeting all together Samson told RTL Nieuws that he had had enough. “Honestly I enjoyed saying farewell so much that I never came back. Maybe will once,” he said.
