Mother arrested in Amersfoort child's death

The mother of an 11-year-old boy, who was found dead in a home on the Noorderlicht in Amersfoort, was arrested by the police on suspicion of killing her son. When police responded to the call, they found the body of the boy in the home. The 47-year-old mother was also in the home, heavily wounded. amersfoort possible family drama

The mother had to be evacuated from the house with the help of the fire department and was taken to a hospital, where she was arrested. The father, who lives at the same address, was questioned by the police, but is not a suspect, according to a police spokesperson. The investigation is ongoing.
