Fair chance of fourth storm of the year
There is a good chance of storm on the Wadden Islands tomorrow morning, reported weeronline.nl. If force 9 winds are measured, it will be the fourth storm since October 28. There have not been this many storms in one year since 2002.In 2002 six storms were measured as early as February. 21 days in February measured very heavy wind gusts. 2007 also saw several storms, 'but in recent years we have become accustomed to quiet and cold winter weather,' said a meteorologist with weeronline.nl.

The rest of the country should be alert for gusts of 75 to 100 km/hour, according to the meteorologists. The KNMI (Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute) already issued a code "yellow" for wind gusts along the coast on Wednesday. The measure is now also in effect for Limburg.
