Possibly no loan for the Greeks this month

Finance Minister and Eurogroup chairman, Jeroen Dijsselbloem, thinks Greece may not receive a payout from the loan program of the Eurozone this month.For the Greeks to receive a payment in December, the European troika has to first finish its new report, and then it needs to be reviewed by the ministers of the Eurozone. The troika does not respond well to pressure, and neither does the Eurogroup, but further payments to Greece can only follow after the Eurogroup reviewed the troika report. That can still be accomplished in December, but time is very short, stated Dijsselbloem. The Eurogroup chairman doesn't anticipate acute problems for the Greek Government if the installment of December is delayed, because the Greeks don't have any acute financing obligations, but it's in everyone's interest to wrap this up adequately, according to Dijsselbloem. Last Friday the troika, consisting of officials from the European Commission, the International Monetary Fund ( IMF ), and the European Central Bank ( ECB ), rescheduled the visit they had planned to Greece for this week.
