ADO Fans Chant Against Fallen Ajax Fan

Supporters of the ADO Den Haag football club were heard singing songs and chants mocking the Ajax fan who fell out of the stands onto concrete last week in Amsterdam. The Den Haag fans sang their song during the Eredivisie match between the two squads on Sunday in the Hague, reported broadcaster AT5. The Ajax supporter fell out of the F-Side section of the Amsterdam ArenA during the 39th minute of his team's clash with FC Barcelona last week. On Thursday, he was still listed in critical condition due to severe head injuries. A portion of the group sang 'There's a jew in the canal' to the beat of 'There's a horse in the hallway.' The fans also sang 'One who doesn't jump, will lay in the ditch.' The box, dedicated to the ADO fanatics, also unrolled a banner making fun of the injured man. ADO den haag

Over the last thirty years, supporters of rival teams have regularly sung anti-semitic chants when their squads take on Ajax. A spokesperson for ADO Den Haag reported ADO did not intervene on Sunday because the songs were barely audible and of short duration.
