Non-Russian Arctic crew out on bail
A court in St. Petersburg ruled Tuesday that a number of non-Russian Greenpeace activists were to be released on bail. It concerned a woman from Brazil, a man from New Zealand, and a Polish man, reported Greenpeace.
There is confusion over the amount of bail to be paid, but it involves tens of thousands of euros per activist, reported correspondent David Jan Godfroid. Greenpeace is committed to get the money together.

Even if the deposit is made, it remains the question how much freedom the activists will be allowed, since none of them have a residence status, according to Godfroid. Monday, the court already decided to release three Russians on bail, set for 30,000 euros per person.
The preliminary detentions of an Australian crew member was extended by three months until February 24. It is unclear why the court makes a distinction between his case and that of other foreign activists .
The Dutch crew members Faiza Oulahsen and Mannes Ubels will appear before the court Wednesday.
The Arctic Sunrise, with thirty people on board, was boarded on September 18 by the Russian Coast Guard, in the Arctic where Greenpeace conducted a protest against oil drilling.
