World record Sint Maarten Sing songs in Zuidhorn

If all goes well, the world record singing Sint Maarten songs will be broken Monday in Zuidhorn. At 17.00, an attempt will be made to break the 2008 unofficial record, in the Overtuinen in Zuidhorn. In 2008 a total of 893 children jointly sang Sint Maarten songs in Surhuisterveen. This afternoon Johan Vergonet, organizer and webmaster of http://www.welkominzuidhorn.nl/, has his hopes on an occasional choir of 1,000 children. Anyone who wants to take part can request a ticket from volunteers on the Overtuinen. Afterwards the tickets must be returned, and all participating children will receive a Goodie bag and a Charter.
