Footage of boarding Arctic Sunrise
Greenpeace posted footage of the boarding of the Arctic Sunrise on September 19 on the Internet. Members of the Russian coast guard lowered themselves from a helicopter on the deck and arrested the crew: 28 activists and two journalists. They were then transported to Murmansk with the ship.
The video shows a helicopter hovering over the deck. A member of the Coast Guard lowers himself on the deck, but then just stands there, surrounded by the campaigners who have their hands up in the air. A few minutes later, he is reinforced by an armed colleague. The crew is rounded up inside the ship. Greenpeace does not want to disclose how it got the videos.
