Teens arrested after spending counterfeit money

Five teenagers were arrested Thursday in the Gelderland Elst, because they are suspected of paying with counterfeit money, reported the police.The police received reports Thursday morning of attempts to use counterfeit money in transactions with a catering business and a market merchant. Two of the suspects were arrested soon afterwards. Three other teenagers were arrested at a high school. The five suspects from Elst and Arnhem are detained at a police station. How they got to the counterfeit money and how much money is involved, is not yet known.
