Three burglars arrested after spectacular chase

Three burglary suspects were arrested Friday morning in Zuidoost after a chase on the A2 and A9.Around a quarter past three the police received a report that two cars were broken into on the Karperstraat in Aalsmeer. A witness at the scene pointed the police to a car with the three burglars. The police signaled the driver to stop, but the suspects fled, with the police in pursuit. The fugitives drove down the A9 and A2 at high speed, driving dangerously on the emergency lane and passing other cars on the right. In Zuidoost, on the Burgemeester Stramanweg, the vehicle came into contact with a police car. The suspects, three men aged 18, 19 and 20 years old, were arrested.
