Lab-Grown Burger Ready to be served

On Monday, the world's first laboratory-grown burger will be revealed and served at a news conference in London. Scientists in the Netherlands used cow cells and converted them into strips of muscle and finally mixed them into a burger patty. Burger Meat

Reviewers, however, encourage less meat consumption to address the growing concern over impending food shortage. Scientist Professor Mark Post of Maastricht University told BBC News: "Later today we are going to present the world's first hamburger made in a lab from cells. We are doing that because livestock production is not good for the environment, it is not going to meet demand for the world and it is not good for animals." Source: BBC News
