Zwarte Cross Prepares For Heat

The organization of the Zwarte Cross Festival in Lichtenvoorde will provide lots of water to cope with the high temperatures during the event this coming weekend. At the festival site are already extra tanks of 5000 liters present. Festival goers will be offered sponges to keep their head cool. They are also planning to spray water, explains Pieter Holkenborg of organizer Feestfabriek. “We have also bought extra quantities of sunscreen smashed and all campers will receive a free pair of sunglasses.” It is the 17th time that the Zwarte Cross festival is held. Most editions were characterized by lots of rain and mud. This year the organization has to spray the terrain to avoid dust. The Zwarte Cross festival which attracts every year about 150,000 visitors will be held from July 26 till July 28. Among the artists this year, are Coldplay, The Opposites, Trafassi and the Golden Earring.
