Enterprise's Expansion to the Netherlands

Enterprise Rent-A-Car asked SharingMatters BV to build up an Enterprise-branded rental business in the Netherlands. One of the Enterprise’s current European development strategies is to set up the business in the main Dutch airports. The first one may launch in September. The next targeted areas are the major train stations. Elvin/flickr The goal is to bring in a system of rental locations in the country at major transport and city centers to meet the growing demands of business travelers, visitors, and global trekkers. “We are delighted to welcome SharingMatters to the growing network of Enterprise-branded businesses across Europe. This is a young company with deep roots in the Dutch car hire and car sharing sector, and the drive to build a business that will offer a real difference to inbound leisure and business customers,” Enterprise Vice President of Global Franchising Peter A. Smith said. The Netherlands is one of the toughest economies in Europe. Many multinational corporations are based in the country. Director of SharingMatters BV, Thomas Wolters, said, “Joining the Enterprise network is a major achievement for SharingMatters and the perfect step to service the exacting international customer as well as the highly competitive Dutch market. We are pleased to be part of Enterprise’s growing presence across Europe and to play our part in the worldwide expansion of a remarkable mobility provider.” Wolters said Enterprise is the biggest international supplier of car rental and distribution products and it continues to reinforce its service to meet the personal needs of its customers. He said the company aspires to share its goal and to offer outstanding service to car rental clients in the Netherlands.
