Jeremain Lens Joins Dynamo Kiev

Former PSV Eindhoven forward Jeremain Lens has transferred to Dynamo Kiev for an undisclosed price. Aleksandr Osipov/Wikimedia Commons The 25-year-old player signed a four-year contract with Dynamo. Lens told Sports Entertainment Group the league is a step forward and he added Dynamo is a top club with a lot of opportunities. "There was concrete interest from average Premier League clubs, but they were unable to match the financial and sporting opportunities offered by Dynamo," Lens added. He also explained that he had to choose to either play in a top league of play for a title. He believes his transfer to the Ukranian club is the right career move for him at the moment. A Dutch international since 2012, Lens began his career with AZ Alkmaar. He later transferred to PSV in 2010. He has a total of 56 goals in 182 league games. He was able to score six goals in 13 matches for his country.
