Easter Fire Drama

The police are investigating alcohol consumption during the old European Easter fire ritual held in Teuge on Sunday night, during which a 15-year-old pushed a boy from Twello into the flames. The 18-year-old victim suffered severe burns his hands and legs. Other spectators managed to save the boy and he is now recovering in Beverwijk in a center specializing in burns. According to Nu.nl, the father of the victim went to the police and they arrested the young suspect. The organizer of the Easter fire, Sportclub Teuge, said that alcohol was sold according to the rules.
