Harry Styles tickets drop to as low as €50 for Amsterdam ArenA shows

Tickets to see Harry Styles perform live in Amsterdam are selling for as low as 50 euros, RTL has reported. The performances in the Johan Cruijff ArenA are one of two European cities that he is visiting in his tour, in addition to London.

Styles will give a series of concerts at the ArenA this summer as part of his “together, together tour.” It is part of a residency, which involves multiple shows in one location. In total, the Amsterdam stop will include 10 concerts.

The run marks a record, with 10 stadium shows by a single solo artist in one series in the Netherlands. With this achievement, he overtakes both Robbie Williams and Dutch artist Rene Froger, who previously held records at the ArenA with four shows in a row.

Standing tickets, usually priced between 141 and 315 euros, are now in some cases available from about 70 euros. Seats in the first and second tiers can sometimes be found for roughly 50 euros. Meanwhile, resale platforms are seeing large numbers of tickets being listed for sale.

MetroNieuws points to several factors behind the situation. Fans joined massive online queues, and many ended up buying tickets out of fear of missing out. It later became clear that availability remained higher than expected, with a large number of tickets still unsold at the time.

Some buyers purchased tickets with the intention of reselling them at a higher price, but demand fell short of expectations. This has led to many of those tickets now being listed for less than their original purchase price.

The series of shows is expected to draw tens of thousands of international fans to Amsterdam, as it is one of the limited stops on Styles’ summer schedule. As a result, hotel bookings in the city are surging around the concert dates.

The concerts have also caused issues for Ajax, who play their home matches in the stadium. The Amsterdammers have been forced to move their potential games in the European play offs to Volendam as they clashed with the schedule of the concerts.
