Ye’s Back: Kanye West to perform in the Netherlands for the first time since 2013

Musical artist Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, will perform his first show in Europe in 12 years at the GelreDome in Arnhem on June 6, it was announced on Tuesday. It will be Ye’s first performance in the Netherlands since 2013.

Fans can pre-register for the presale starting Tuesday, February 12, 2026, at 10 a.m. via the official GelreDome and J.Noah Live channels. Tickets go on general sale on Friday, February 13, 2026, at 10 a.m.

The GelreDome is one of the biggest event arenas in the Netherlands. The arena, which is the home stadium of football club Vitesse, features a unique retractable roof and pitch, with a concert capacity of approximately 41,000 people. Ye last performed at the GelreDome in 2012 during the Watch the Throne tour with Jay-Z.

The Arnhem concert marks the first European stop of a limited tour, with the next performance scheduled for July 18, 2026, in Reggio Emilia, Italy. While recent years focused on "listening parties" for the Vultures series, the 2026 dates are being billed as full live concerts.

In recent years, Ye, who is regarded as one of the most influential figures in music and popular culture over the past decades, has faced significant controversy over antisemitic and other provocative statements on social media, including a song called “Heil Hitler.”

In January, leading up to the album and tour announcements, Ye published a full-page apology in The Wall Street Journal. The ad expressed remorse to both the Jewish and Black communities for his past controversial statements, asserting the apology was a result of "remorseful feelings" rather than a commercial move.

In that apology, Ye said he has bipolar type 1 disorder, which he linked to the effects of an old brain injury from a 2002 car accident that damaged his frontal lobe.

Ye is set to release his twelfth studio album, Bully, on March 20, 2026.
