Woman stabbed in Son en Breugel drives self to Eindhoven hospital; Suspect arrested
A 45-year-old woman drove herself to an Eindhoven hospital for treatment after suffering a stab wound in Son en Breugel, according to authorities. Shortly after her report, officers arrested a 53-year-old man from Son en Breugel.
The suspect and the victim were known to each other, although police did not disclose the nature of their relationship, Omroep Brabant reports.
The incident occurred on Keverlaan, and the woman arrived at the emergency department around 5:45 p.m. She sustained injuries from the stabbing and was treated at the hospital. Police were immediately notified.
Police conducted a forensic investigation at the residence where the stabbing occurred, collecting evidence and examining the scene. The circumstances leading to the attack remain under investigation.
