Armed robbery in Amsterdam-Zuidoost apartment results in one arrest

An armed robbery occurred Sunday evening in an apartment in the Grubbehoeve complex in Amsterdam-Zuidoost, AT5 reported. One suspect has been taken into custody.

The robbery was reported to authorities at 7:36 p.m. Multiple people were present in the apartment at the time.

Police confirmed that a weapon was used to threaten the occupants, and preliminary reports suggest it may have been a firearm.
