Relative of stabbing victim arrested after hip-hop concert in Rotterdam
Police arrested a woman in a Rotterdam hospital late Saturday after she threatened officers and used physical violence against them, hours after two people were stabbed during or shortly after a concert by the hip-hop group Broederliefde at Ahoy, authorities said Sunday.
According to the RTL, the woman is a family member of one of the stabbing victims, a police spokesperson said. She was taken into custody late Saturday night in the hospital where the victims had been brought.
The stabbings left a 15-year-old boy and a 23-year-old man injured. One victim was found on the square outside Ahoy, while the other was located inside the venue. Both were transported to the hospital. Police have not released information about their conditions.
Police said Saturday night they believe there was likely one suspect involved in the stabbings. As of Sunday, officers were still searching for the suspect, the spokesperson said.
