Netherlands commits €55 million to rebuild Ukraine’s infrastructure

The Netherlands will invest 55 million euros to repair critical infrastructure in Ukraine, part of a broader 252 million euro package of non-military support planned for 2026.

The funding is allocated through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, primarily from the budget for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation.

Beyond infrastructure, 58 million euros will support Ukraine’s energy sector, 10 million euros will go to healthcare, and 2 million euros are earmarked for cultural heritage projects. An additional 50 million euros has been reserved, with specific use to be determined during 2026.

The Dutch government stated that the support reflects the country's ongoing international commitments to assist Ukraine in rebuilding essential services and facilities damaged by the conflict.
