Arnhem man, 45, dies after being struck by car near GelreDome

A 45-year-old man from Arnhem has died following an accident near GelreDome on Tuesday morning, police reported Saturday evening.

The man, a pedestrian, was struck by a car at the location. Emergency services responded immediately after the incident was reported.

Multiple ambulances and police units arrived at the scene, and a trauma helicopter was also dispatched to provide medical assistance. The circumstances of the accident remain unclear. Authorities are investigating.

Police expressed their condolences to the victim’s family on X, stating, “We wish the relatives much strength.”
